17522 Runnymede St

On a quiet, tree-lined street in the heart of Lake Balboa, this 3-bed, 2-bath home was redesigned and finished by its owner, a professional interior designer, with over $70K in recent improvements. You can see it in every choice that's been made.

Step inside and the living and dining area is one bright, open space with new engineered hardwood throughout. The fully remodeled kitchen has floating wood shelves, a breakfast bar, and a full suite of GE appliances, so it’s built for people who love to cook. The dining area opens straight onto the covered patio for easy indoor-outdoor living.

The primary suite sits apart from the rest of the house, with recessed lighting and a walk-in closet with real space. The other two bedrooms get great natural light, share a full hall bath, and work just as well as an office, gym, or guest room.

The backyard is big, and mature hedges keep it private. The covered patio is made for morning coffee or weekend barbecues. A Tuff Shed is ready to be a studio, workshop, or extra storage, and the attached garage handles the rest. The house also has a new water heater, central air, dual-pane windows, and smart locks, and it was just repainted.

Saturday mornings here mean a loop around Lake Balboa, a stop at the Japanese Garden, and some time at the dog park down the street.
